Rye is a winter-hardy grain species that is suitable for use as a cover crop in spring and autumn, where the intention is to graze it or harvest it as a leafy crop. Rye as whole plant silage (WPS) has a relatively low feed value. As a leafy crop, it is very nutritious.
Suitable for dry, poor soil.
Rye covers the soil quickly, creates a moist microclimate, in which the main crop can emerge well and establish itself successfully.
Use around 100 kg/ha.

Grazing is going well! This year we have much more grass than last year, we are amazed!
My Saladebuffet® (Salad Buffet) plots are growing twice as fast as my perennial ryegrass plots!
Since our cows have been eating Saladebuffetten® (Salad Buffets), they have been producing about 7% more milk!
My ewe-lambs on Saladebuffet® (Salad Buffet) are growing faster than my ram-lambs on perennial ryegrass and unlimited concentrated feed!
My neighbors are busy. Silage-making, manure-spreading all summer long. We are also busy, but differently busy. This is more fun to work!
I was extremely shocked at how the Saladebuffet® (Salad Buffet) was able to restore my pastures!
When I graze my cows in Saladebuffet® (Salad Buffet), my cows give 0.5 liters to 1 liter per cow, per day more!
Saladebuffetten® (Salad Buffets) are the best herb-rich mixtures I know!
With Pure Graze Saladebuffetten® (Salad Buffets), you have platinum in your hands!
We have a very high livestock density on very dry sandy soil. That's why we have to irrigate. At 30°C, grass no longer grows despite irrigation, but Saladebuffet (Salad Buffet) just keeps going.
PG NxT STEP is such a great farming system because you work WITH nature and WITH the cows. It's a pity I didn't start with it ten years earlier.
Previously I looked at the milk price, but with Pure Graze I focus on the costs of my business. So that I can steer what I myself have influence on.
When it's wet, there's water on the land with traditional grass. Not with Saladebuffet (Salad Buffet), and I can continue grazing.
I am careful about where my clay soil can't handle, machines and tractors.
Our clay on peat soil is very sensitive and quickly becomes compacted. If it was even a little too wet, we would flood, and if it was even a little too dry, our grass would dry out. Since we started using Saladebuffet (Salad Buffet) and PG NxT-STEP Farming, we saw major improvements after 3 months.
Last year I sowed Saladebuffet (Salad Buffet) and made hay from it. My wife is a veterinarian and horse owner, she has never had such beautiful hay before and the animals love it!
