Herb-rich grassland mixture, Saladebuffet Organic (1ha):
Herb-rich grassland mixture, suitable for grazing and mowing. Offers a healthy and highly productive crop for both grazing and mowing. The buffet has a broad composition with 14 types of grasses, herbs and clovers, with different growth patterns and properties, that produce a complete feed over a long growing season.
Drought resistance:
Due to the many deep-rooting species, this mixture lays a lot of CO2 vertically in the soil.
Composition:
70% Grasses: Perennial Ryegrass, Smooth Meadow Grass, Timothy, Cocksfoot, Tall Fescue
15% Clovers: White Clover, Red Clover, Alfalfa, Yellow Sweet Clover
15% Herbs: Chicory, Parsley, Caraway, Ribwort Plantain

We have a very high livestock density on very dry sandy soil. That's why we have to irrigate. At 30°C, grass no longer grows despite irrigation, but Saladebuffet (Salad Buffet) just keeps going.
PG NxT STEP is such a great farming system because you work WITH nature and WITH the cows. It's a pity I didn't start with it ten years earlier.
Previously I looked at the milk price, but with Pure Graze I focus on the costs of my business. So that I can steer what I myself have influence on.

I am careful about where my clay soil can't handle, machines and tractors.
