Can I use Saladebuffet for reseeding and/or overseeding?

All of our types of Saladebuffet are suitable for re-seeding, except for Saladebuffet overseeding. Saladebuffet Overseeding and Saladebuffet Herb-rich are user for overseeding existing herbal leys. Saladebuffet Herb-rich is meant for plots where exising grass needs improvement.

How long does a Saladebuffet last?

A Saladebuffet will last between 3 to 4 years before overseeding is required.

Will the composition stay equal over the years?

Over time the composition will adapt to the circumstances. The composition will become less varied over the years, however, it's composition can be kept varied by overseeding after 3 years, from then, we advise to overseed with 4 to 10kg of Saladebuffet Overseeding.

What is the Darwin Effect?

When different types of plant species grow together, just like the Pure Graze Saladebuffet, the yield will be higher than the average yield of different plant species in monoculture. This is called the Darwin Effect and is caused by the stimulating effects that different plant species have on each other.
